Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Master Electrician to join our residential service team.

The successful candidate must hold both a valid Master Electrician Licence and a Licensed Electrical Contractor (LEC) licence with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).

This position involves performing and overseeing residential electrical service calls throughout Toronto and the GTA, ensuring that all electrical work meets the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and ESA standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform residential electrical service calls throughout Toronto and the GTA, including troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and installations. Act as the Designated Master Electrician (DME) Ensure all electrical work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), ESA regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Review and approve ESA notifications, permits, and inspection reports. Maintain accurate records of jobs, materials, and inspection documentation. Provide professional and courteous customer service during residential service visits. Assist with estimates, material ordering, and job planning when required.
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Master Electrician Licence issued by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) -- mandatory. Valid Licensed Electrical Contractor (LEC) licence -- mandatory. Certificate of Qualification (309A -- Construction & Maintenance Electrician) in good standing. Minimum 3-5 years of residential electrical experience, including troubleshooting and service work. Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and ESA permitting process. Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driving record. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple service calls per day, and maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism.
