Job Description

CNC Industries is a leading manufacturer of OEM components for the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving Industries, and specialized parts used in the Oil Extraction process. Our broad range of CNC and conventional machinery paired with our 30 years of experience provides us the ability to complete projects of any size. CNC Industries is looking for a Master Electrician to join their maintenance team.





Key Responsibilities:


Carry out preventive maintenance both electrical and mechanical plans for all heavy equipment in the plant.

Complete repairs and maintenances while ensuring minimal machine downtime and optimal production time.

Ensure that Maintenance Manager is informed daily about quality, equipment, safety, and any other issues that require immediate attention.

Train and evaluate employees for the maintenance department.

Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety rules are followed.

Perform troubleshooting of machines and related equipment.

Help source specialized component that need to be ordered or request materials and supplies

Undertake projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager to improve plant processes (e.g. implementation of lean manufacturing practices).

Maintain professional behaviour in all dealings with employees, colleagues, and other departments.

Perform other duties as required.

Able to pull electrical permits to put in new services and make modifications to existing ones.

Installation and commissioning of new machines; hook up and unhook machines when relocating and changing shop layout.

Troubleshooting of Building components such as RTU's and exhaust fans as well as production equipment. CNC lathes, Mills ect.




Profile and Required Skills:


5+ years of Industrial maintenance experience.

University degree or college diploma as a Master Industrial Electrician.

Robotic knowledge and Automation knowledge such as drives, servo motors ect.

Demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving, coaching, technical skills and interpersonal skills.

Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in quality and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical ability and detail orientated.

Ability to influence others and effectively work in a team.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
