Designated Master Electrician

to join our growing team in Toronto. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the

Designated Master Electrician (DME)

for QForce in accordance with ESA regulations Install, inspect, and troubleshoot all the electrical installations for compliance and safety Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs

Supervise job sites

as needed and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Collaborate with mechanical engineers

and other consultants to align project goals

Prepare basic electrical drawings and layouts

for outlets, switches, and lighting and coordinate with the architecture team

Assist with administrative tasks

, such as documentation and permit coordination

Contribute to sales efforts

, including meeting with potential clients and helping to bring in new business Support basic bookkeeping Work closely with internal teams to ensure project deadlines are met and budgets maintained

Qualifications

Licensed Master Electrician, eligible to serve as a Designated Master Electrician in Ontario Strong understanding of Ontario electrical code and ESA standards Proven experience in electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting Proficiency with electrical planning and layout drawings Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Comfortable engaging in administrative and customer-facing responsibilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Tech-savvy and adaptable to small business environments where versatility is key Note: A Master Electrician can only be designated to one electrical contractor license at a time
