Position: Journeyman Electrician

Locations: Hamilton or London

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation Package:

Competitive base rate, commensurate with experience. Vacation Pay: 10% of base rate (6% Vacation Pay and 4% Statutory Pay). Retirement Savings Plan (RSP): 5% of base hourly rate. Position Summary:

Elevate Energy Group is seeking a Journeyman Electrician who possesses a

Master Electrician Certificate (Ontario)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings. As part of our dynamic team, the Journeyman Electrician will help ensure the timely completion of electrical projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and resolve them efficiently. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards in all electrical work. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete electrical projects on time and within budget. Provide technical expertise and advice to junior electricians and apprentices. Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Follow all safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment. Stay current with advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices. Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements. Travel to various job sites as required.

Qualifications:

Master Electrician Certificate (Ontario) and valid Journeyman Electrician license/certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a focus on industrial work. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and applicable codes and regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various work conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
