You will play a key role in ensuring our core data assets-spanning financial, customer, product, and vendor information-are properly managed and leveraged to drive sustained business value.This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization, promoting innovation and excellence in our data management practices.Reporting to the Senior Analyst - Master Data, this role will support master data management and lease administration.What You\'ll Do:Master Data Management: Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintain the processes to support data quality

  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data process analysis and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
  • Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
  • Manage, analyze, and resolve data initiative issues and manage revisions needed to best meet internal requirements while adhering to published data standards
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements
  • Assist in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets
  • Perform master data modifications in compliance with SOX and Internal controls.
Lease Administration: Assists in the preparation of monthly Financial Statements and Management reports. Tasks include but may differ at times.
  • Generates lease accruals and timely monthly lease payments
  • Prepares and reviews annual lease reconciliations
  • Prepares lease summaries and extracts and communicates lease renewals to Management
  • Prepares lease renewal templates, extension options, and other documents as required
  • Prepares monthly percentage rent calculations for retail stores
  • Responsible for the accuracy, implementation, and maintenance of lease software
  • Reporting, troubleshooting and resolution of issues and functionality of lease software
  • Trains new users on lease software functionality
  • Reviews monthly lease expenses, and the variances between actuals vs. budgets, and estimates.
  • Performs 3-way vendor reconciliations - vendor statement v D365 v Rent schedules
  • Provides input on leased properties for SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) filing
  • Negotiates lease renewals with landlords
  • Ensures accurate treatment of COVID relief-related deferrals, abatements, and repayments
  • Leads the transition of lease software from Tango to Accruent
Let\'s Talk About You:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics Certification, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
  • 2-3 years of data analysis, coordinator, or administrative experience
  • Experience with D365 or lease software would be an asset
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to develop and maintain courteous and collaborative working relationships, internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data management or lease accounting is considered an asset.
