Position Overview:
As a Master Carpenter at PARVIZ Kitchens, you will be responsible for constructing and finishing custom cabinetry and woodwork for high-end residential kitchens. You will work closely with our design team and other craftspeople to bring exceptional kitchen designs to life with precision and artistry.
Essential Duties:
Construct, shape, and finish custom cabinets, islands, and specialty woodwork components
Execute complex joinery and woodworking techniques with exceptional accuracy
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Select appropriate materials and plan construction sequence for optimal quality
Operate specialized woodworking machinery and hand tools with expert precision
Perform detailed finishing work including sanding, fitting, and hardware installation
Mentor junior team members and contribute to production process improvements
Maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process
Uphold strict safety standards in the workshop environment
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in custom cabinetry or fine woodworking
Demonstrated mastery of advanced woodworking techniques and joinery methods
Proficiency with both traditional and modern woodworking tools and equipment
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to unique design challenges
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 50+ lbs regularly
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years in high-end custom cabinetry or furniture making
Experience with CNC programming and operation
Knowledge of various wood species, properties, and optimal applications
Experience with multiple finishing techniques and applications
Formal carpentry training, certification, or apprenticeship completion
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional woodworking craftsmanship
Experience with sustainable and innovative woodworking practices
