Position Summary

Academy Canada is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Massage Therapy Instructor to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will play a role in delivering high-quality instruction to students enrolled in our Massage Therapy program. This role requires commitment to student success, academic excellence and industry-relevant teaching practices. It's a chance to inspire confidence and foster hands-on learning while setting our students up for a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction in accordance with the Massage Therapy program curriculum

Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and assessments

Support and guide students in both theoretical and practical learning

Provide hands on supervision in the lab/clinic setting

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and evaluations

Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

Required:

Diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution

Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists in NL.

Six years combined education and work experience in the Massage Therapy field

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Passion for adult education and student mentorship
