Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their preferences and concerns. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques to continually enhance service offerings. Uphold all health and safety regulations while adhering to ethical standards in practice.

Requirements

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences. Ability to maintain professionalism while building rapport with clients. Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining focus on client comfort. Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $47.85-$80.00 per hour
