Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver tailored treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Duties

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and any necessary adjustments during sessions. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, adhering to confidentiality standards. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development in massage techniques and customer service practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
