Registered Massage Therapist -

Reconnect Physiotherapy and Wellness, Newmarket.

We are looking for a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team and step into an established client list.

Reconnect Physiotherapy and wellness is a fast growing modern wellness clinic where science and compassion meet to deliver high-level care. We're seeking a skilled practitioner who can confidently take over a loyal, consistent and growing clientele list, offering results-driven, nurturing treatments within a beautiful, fully equipped space.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress/injuries through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a serene and professional environment.

Duties

Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Knowledge and training in Sport massage, Pregnancy, postpartum massage, scar tissue massage, Lymphatic drainage and fascial stretch therapy is an asset but not necessary. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs, preferences, and any concerns they may have before, during, and after sessions. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and maintaining equipment. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications

Must be in good standing with the CMTO. Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness centre setting is preferred but not required. We encourage new graduates to apply.

Job Types: Part-time, with opportunity to build into full time hours

Pay: $70-$100 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
