Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate massage therapist to join us in growing a new wellness center located next to Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario. We are looking for a therapist who is willing to work a minimum of 3 days per week and build a clientele base in the Aurora/Newmarket area. The clinic currently offers full-body red light therapy, PEMF therapy and nutritional consulting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.

Duties

Cranial Sacral and lymphatic drainage massage would be an asset. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide aftercare recommendations for optimal results. Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients. Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately discuss health conditions and treatments with clients. Ability to perform various massage techniques with proficiency and care. Strong organizational skills to manage appointments, maintain records, and ensure a tidy workspace.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $58,760.29-$119,324.77 per year
