Responsible for the daily leadership of the spa massage and body treatment operations ensuring all guest experiences, cleanliness, colleague engagement, revenue, productivity and expenses are controlled in keeping with the positioning of Willow Stream spa.

What you will be doing: Reporting to the Spa Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Two days a week as a Massage Therapist providing massage services and three days a week in the management role overseeing the Massage Therapist team
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Assists with treatment operations of the facility
• Ensures the establishment and execution of all departmental goals
• Hires, manages, trains, and motivates all colleagues through recognition, performance reviews and progressive corrective action
• Provides and takes responsibility for the professional delivery of all information to guests (issue resolution)
• Maximizes schedules / resources thereby maximizing revenue
• Monitors and controls operations payroll
• Completes daily room checks
• Maintains adequate inventories and manages expenses within budgets
• Ensures effective communication with the team in regards to follow up in a timely manner, written and verbal
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a leadership position is an asset
• Recognized certificate in Massage Therapy. 2,200 hours
• Lifting - Under 20lbs 10% of work time.
• Carrying - Over 20lbs 0% of work time.
• Pulling - Over 20lbs 0% of work time.
• Pushing - 35lbs pressure through wrists 80% of work time.
• Motions - Bending, standing, reaching, and working with hands, arms, and fingers continuously throughout workday.
• Sitting – 20% of work time.
