Share your passion for beauty and wellness and help us create incredible guest experiences! Overlooking the gorge in Elora, our therapists provide relaxing spa treatments in a breathtaking workplace. The role of the Registered Massage Therapist at Elora Mill Spa is to provide a relaxing, comforting massage that is tailored to the guests concerns. We provide traditional massage and unique body experiences that are designed to entice our guests through a journey of healing, and total body rejuvenation. Our therapists take great pride in establishing a genuine connection with each spa guest. With extensive knowledge of the body\xe2\x80\x99s anatomy they will use their techniques to assist guests in achieving overall wellness while releasing their aches, pains and stresses of the day. What makes you the perfect candidate:

• You are an experienced and motivated wellness professional.
• You enjoy providing relaxing and restorative treatments to clients and guests.
• You are a positive individual that thrives in collaborative environment.
• You have 2 years or more of massage therapy practice.
• You have previous experience in a luxury spa setting.
• You have certification from an accredited school of Massage Therapy and are in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• A massage therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience.
• Ability to perform 30-90 minute massages with frequent bending and standing throughout scheduled shift.
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which treatment is most beneficial.
• Take detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Maintain accurate client records
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intuitive listener, with active communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• Team oriented
• Highly professional, responsible and reliable
