Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and professional RMT Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to tailor treatments to meet individual client needs.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage. Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans based on their health history and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients before, during, and after their sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to create a relaxing environment that promotes healing and comfort. Strong attention to detail in treatment delivery and record keeping. Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required. Experience in spa or wellness settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
