Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and preferences to tailor massage sessions accordingly. Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, ensuring high-quality service. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory.
