Overview


We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our construction and renovation team. This role involves supporting various projects through hands-on tasks, utilizing a range of tools and equipment, and assisting with site preparation and cleanup. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. This position offers opportunities for skill development in construction, masonry, restoration, and heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities



Assist with construction, renovation, and restoration projects by performing manual labor tasks Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials Perform masonry work including mixing mortar, laying bricks or blocks, and caulking as needed Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or excavators in accordance with safety protocols Support team members in demolition, site cleanup, and material transportation Follow safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications



Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of construction processes including masonry, renovation techniques, and blueprint reading is advantageous Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to assist with project tasks Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, caulking, schematics interpretation, and site management Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
