Our client Marystown Ford is looking for a Parts Counter Representative to join their team! The successful candidate will have a desire to establish a career with a first-class company, possessing a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude and strong work ethics!
The successful candidate will be responsible for customer part inquiries, receiving part orders for Ford products, and maintaining inventory levels. As the Parts Rep, you will work closely with service technicians to research, source, expedite, and deliver parts requests to the work area, while ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.
What You Will be Doing:
- Process parts orders by entering, ordering, and expediting purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Interpret part numbers using electronic and paper parts catalogues to determine the appropriate parts needed
- Organize and maintain inventory areas, ensuring stock of parts to proactively improve service levels
- Assist with ordering, shipping, and distribution of parts
- Manage part orders and return claims
- Operate in a safe manner and keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
Who We Are Looking for:
- Previous experience using electronic parts catalogues and paper catalogues is an asset, but not required
- Must have knowledge of automotive products/industry
- Basic knowledge and experience with computers and printers
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
