Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. We are specifically looking for someone who is available to make a 12 week commitment each Saturday starting in January 2026. Hours 10am-12pm.

The ideal candidate will have a background in various martial arts disciplines and experience in teaching children. This role involves creating a positive learning environment, promoting physical fitness, and instilling discipline and respect in students. The instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, leading classes, and ensuring the safety of all participants.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging martial arts classes for students of varying skill levels, focusing on techniques, forms, and respect. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence. Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, respect, and discipline among students. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience in martial arts. Previous teaching or coaching experience in sports or physical education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.
