We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Student to join our growing team for the summer. You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to various marketing initiatives and gain practical experience in the field. You will be providing marketing support to our individual health benefits broker sales channel.
Responsibilities:
Set up and monitor email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, such as monthly newsletters and communiques
Help create and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, forms, presentation, communications on various content platforms including SharePoint and web
Prepare marketing content drafts and coordinate requests for approvals and translation
Provide webinar planning and production support as part of our event team
Provide in-person event planning and execution support as part of our event team
Prepare application submissions to have our marketing content accredited for professional education credits
Perform brand compliance audits of advisor partner websites, providing recommendations for changes.
Provide recommendations for promotional products and place orders with our suppliers as required
Perform competitive intelligence research
Support creation of marketing reports or presentations
Collaborate with marketing, brand, product and sales teams as required to coordinate marketing activities and ensure timely execution
Contribute to creative ideas and solutions to improve effectiveness of marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
Current enrolment in a Marketing or related degree program
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques
Experience with event planning, email marketing and digital marketing preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take initiative
Bilingualism would be a strong asset
Duration
This is a full-time temporary position from May to August. The start and end dates will be determined by the student\'s school schedule.
