is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen the company's brand presence and market position across Canada and the U.S. in
the power distribution and transformer manufacturing industry.
This role works closely with the President, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and the sales team to drive initiatives that promote the company's products, capabilities, and technical expertise. The successful candidate will manage marketing content, oversee digital and print communications, coordinate events, and ensure a consistent brand identity that reflects the company's commitment to innovation, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of marketing plans for Canada and the U.S. that align with company objectives and growth strategies.
Collaborate with leadership and the sales team to ensure marketing activities support business development and customer engagement.
Maintain consistent company branding across all channels, reinforcing the company's position as a trusted manufacturer of distribution transformers.
Work with and manage external content providers and marketing partners including Nvision and other agencies.
Manage and update the company website, coordinating the drafting of technical blog posts, product highlights, and news content.
Oversee the company's LinkedIn presence--drafting, curating, and scheduling content to showcase company capabilities, projects, and company events.
Develop and maintain marketing materials including brochures, technical data sheets, presentations, and promotional content.
Draft internal and external communications such as newsletters, customer announcements, and website updates.
Plan and coordinate company participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
Manage event logistics, booth design, marketing materials, and coordination with third-party vendors.
Represent the company at key industry events and ensure professional execution aligned with brand standards.
Manage online marketing and advertising initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns targeting utilities, OEMs, and industrial customers.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and maximize visibility within the transformer and energy markets.
Ensure consistency of the company's visual and messaging standards across all marketing platforms.
Support the sales team with customer-facing materials and presentations that highlight product value and technical capabilities.
Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies and external stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships to support organizational objectives and public engagement initiatives.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
8-10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including strategic planning and vendor management.
Familiarity with the electrical industry, power distribution, or engineered products is a strong asset.
Proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing and technical product promotion.
Strong digital marketing skills, including search engine optimization, social media management, and analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content into clear, compelling messages.
Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, an asset).
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent design software.
Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Team-oriented, creative, and proactive approach with attention to detail.
