The Company


UBC Properties Trust was established in 1988. We build financial legacy and build innovative spaces to live and learn. We develop, service and lease residential land at UBC to create communities and build UBC's endowment for future generations. We construct and manage rental properties to provide residential, retail and office space to support workforce housing and other academic objectives. We provide project management services to construct institutional buildings for UBC and advise on land use and development. We operate on both the Point Grey campus and UBC Okanagan; and have two property management divisions, Village Gate Homes (UBC staff and faculty rentals) and Wesbrook Properties (market rentals).

The Team


The Marketing team is responsible for all marketing activities including those for our two property management divisions. The team consists of Director, Communications Manager, Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Intern.
The diverse role of UBCPT at both campuses in Point Grey and the Okanagan requires our dynamic marketing team to strategize and support all aspects of the business including:Brand development + management Communications Digital campaigns + presence Marketing assets Interior design Signage

The Opportunity


UBC Properties Trust (PT) is seeking a creative and highly organized Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is integral to our efforts in promoting PT, our portfolio, brand, and mission across digital platforms, while also supporting key initiatives through compelling visual content, project coordination, and strategic execution. The successful candidate will demonstrate the flexibility to pivot quickly between tasks, juggle multiple projects, and support evolving organizational priorities with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
The ideal candidate is a digital marketer with excellent graphic design skills, excellent project management capabilities, and a collaborative, proactive mindset. Versatility is key, rather than deep specialization in any one area. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and offers a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns Monitor + report on performance of campaigns adjusting continually improve campaign effectiveness Design high-quality visual content for digital or print (using Adobe) Maintain brand guidelines across all marketing materials + communications Collaborate with teams to understand and implement updates/changes to ongoing campaigns Plan, track, and execute marketing initiatives as needed Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders Prioritize work effectively as project needs and organizational goals evolve

Competencies and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or a related field 2-4 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably in real estate Proven proficiency using digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, TikTok) Excellent graphic design skills with proven experience in Adobe Creative Suite Proven ability to develop and execute creative campaigns and strategies Experience working with WordPress Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for mission-driven work Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting timelines and requirements. High degree of adaptability and resilience under pressure
