Job Overview


Excel Career College is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking initiative, and is eager to grow their career in marketing while making a meaningful impact.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Digital Marketing Execution



Support the creation and independently launch paid digital campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads) under the guidance of the marketing director. Schedule and publish content across social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Support creation of marketing materials such as emails, landing pages, and simple graphics in line with brand guidelines, including basic copywriting when required. Assist with email marketing and lead nurture workflows.

Lead & CRM Management



Manage incoming leads in HubSpot CRM, and ensure accurate tracking, assignment, and timely follow-up. Assist in maintaining and updating forms, workflows, and automations.

Community Outreach & Partnerships



Proactively build and maintain strategic relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders Represent the college at events, job fairs, and community functions to promote programs and services Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with recruitment, admissions, and academic departments Track and use admissions data to help define and review marketing objectives Identify opportunities for new community partnerships.

Event Support



Assist in planning, promoting, and executing marketing events such as open houses and webinars. Help coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, and outreach to maximize attendance. Attend events as a representative of the college to ensure smooth delivery. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of events.

Collaboration



Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns and initiatives are executed effectively. Coordinate with creative team members for content and asset needs. Keep stakeholders updated on progress and campaign results.

Qualifications & Skills:



Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Experience in social media management and digital marketing tools. Familiarity with Meta Ads and Google Ads. Basic experience with HubSpot CRM or similar tools. Experience with Looker Studio for campaign and lead reporting. Strong interpersonal and networking skills; confident in public-facing roles. Strong presentation skills for representing the college at events. Ability to travel locally 1-2 days per week. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of SEO and SEMrush is an asset. Experience with Canva is a plus

Work Environment :



A combination of office work, local travel, and community-based activities. Local travel required (college vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Experience:

Post Secondary Education Environment: 1 year (preferred) Marketing and /or communications: 5 years (preferred)
