You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and you are responsible for supporting marketing initiatives and projects at Bulkley Valley Credit Union (including subsidiaries) through the development and implementation of marketing strategies, promotional activities and community initiatives. You are responsible for developing our social media strategy and providing digital support to BVCU's integrated campaigns to ensure our marketing is impactful, current and on brand. You will ensure all products, services, channels and programs are aligned with brand standards and contribute to the achievement of the strategic goals. You will manage marketing administration tasks such as inventory control, conducting graphic design work for marketing communications, and serve as the primary liaison for disseminating marketing communications and campaign materials to branches and employees. You will be the head of the Social Committee which organizes social events such as the annual Christmas Party. You will chair the Community Support Committees in each of our communities. You will efficiently provide administrative support to the Administration office and the branches, professionally demonstrate BVCU's Enhanced Service Commitment, work as a member of the team, and set a personal example of service and professionalism.



The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a marketing or communications related role, preferably with a credit union or financial institution. An individual with experience plus education and/or training equivalent to 3-5 years will also be considered.



Incumbents must be adaptable to a flexible work schedule, as this role may occasionally involve evening and/or weekend commitments to support meetings and/or events.



An individual must be proficient in a variety of software applications, website design, digital media and social media channels. Post-secondary education specializing in marketing, communications and/or business studies is an asset.
