Position Details

What you will do

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Strategist and other team members to establish Echelon's event marketing strategy
• Prepare annual plans to facilitate Echelon's participation in/exhibition at annual provincial broker conventions
• Oversee the planning for and execution of Echelon's annual broker partner event
• Develop project plans to ensure that all event-related deadlines are captured and met
• Facilitate the creation and coordination of communication plans, branding and tradeshow space assets, marketing collateral, web pages, registrations, and attendee networking and event experiences
• Maintain working relationships with vendors, suppliers and venues
• Event Promotion Budget Management - Manage event budgets and preparing post-event budget reports
• Support the development and implementation of Echelon's digital marketing strategy
• Execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with various stakeholders/business partners
• Liaise with business experts, distribution partners and with industry organizations to effectively deliver marketing to demonstrate Echelon's Specialty value propositions.
• Oversee event administrative processes, working with the Marketing, Communications and Events Coordinator
• Execute Echelon's sponsorship strategy
• Conduct competitive research and make recommendations for advertising/promotion improvements
• Execute the strategy - develop , plan and work with various stakeholders on execution of innovative marketing campaigns to educate our target audience and increase awareness and engagement.
• Execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with various stakeholders/business partners

Who you are

• University degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant marketing experience
• Marketing campaign management and execution experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing large scale marketing initiatives
• Event management experience
• Brand management experience
• Insurance and/or B2B marketing experience
• Strategy development and formulation of tactical plans
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal ability
• Strong understanding of inbound marketing principles, practices and standards
• Team leadership and ability to manage through others
• Internal/external partner relationship management
• Demonstrated aptitude to numbers and comfortable working with budgets, numbers and conceptual analytics
