About NORCAT

NORCAT is looking for a Marketing Specialist to actively contribute to the successful implementation and continuous development of NORCAT's digital strategy across all departments. Reporting to the Communications Lead, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in helping drive revenue, expand brand awareness, and support the successful delivery of internal and external campaigns. The Marketing Specialist will also support the Marketing and Senior Leadership teams by delivering insightful reports and in-depth analysis. This position requires a balance of creative execution, performance tracking, and collaboration across a range of stakeholders and platforms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret marketing data using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Monday.com to generate insights, measure success, and identify areas of opportunity. Monitor performance trends, user behaviour, and historical patterns to support data-informed decision making. Translate metrics into clear and actionable insights that contribute to campaign refinement and departmental reporting. Serve as an in-house resource for marketing analytics tools, providing guidance to team members on effective usage. Curate and support consistent, engaging content across NORCAT's social media and internal communications channels; including capturing photos and short-form video content. Collaborate with internal departments and site teams to align marketing materials, such as newsletters, reports, and paid ads-with strategic goals. Work closely with NORCAT's Graphic Design team to provide creative direction and ensure visual communications align with brand standards. Maintain and update web content, campaign assets, and partner communications as needed. Provide reporting and analysis to support cross-functional campaign planning and outcomes. Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives.

Education:

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Public Relations, Media Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or related role preferred.

Technical Skills:



Proficiency in marketing platforms and tools, including analytics and content scheduling software. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is an asset. Ability to analyze, interpret, and report on data and performance metrics.

Highly organized and deadline driven. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. Adaptable, resourceful, and eager to take initiative. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
