Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist is an intricate member of the marketing team focusing on the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing programs. Responsibilities:

  • Manage go-to-market launches for multiple communities, delivering high-quality messaging and content that communicates their value
  • Manage and execute on strategic initiatives, such as market and competitor analysis, pricing analysis, and buyer personas and use cases
  • Build strategies to support consistent use of brand standards internally
  • Develop and manage a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with our external marketing agency and ensure
  • Seek creative ideas to enable site managers to highlight their best practices in operating seniors living communities and featuring residents in social media, web, and other platforms
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our marketing strategy
  • Raise awareness through social media platforms to assist with resident occupancy and team member recruitment
  • Assist with plan and implementation of annual marketing plan, budget, occupancy KPI\'s and leasing objectives
  • Maintain accurate data for reporting purposes
  • Maintain statistics to evaluate sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Prepare marketing and sales reports
  • Fulfill administrative duties related to marketing: responding to emails, voicemails, and other communication; handling requests for marketing related products; and other tasks as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements
  • Require 10-15% travel within Alberta; working out of our Edmonton office
What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing is considered an asset
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • Enjoy and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience writing detailed project briefs and campaign plans
  • Strong project management including setting/tracking campaign goals and results
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, with a \xe2\x80\x9cresults-oriented\xe2\x80\x9d purpose
  • Agency and vendor management for content creation (design and copy)
  • Ability to thrive independently while managing multiple location brands
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates and supports the Vision, Mission, and Values of Optima Living
  • Clear Police Background Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination. This requirement will be waived if you did not receive the vaccination due to any legislated protected human rights grounds.
