Rohit Communities in Edmonton is looking for a smart, entrepreneurial, and well-rounded Marketing Specialist to join our awesome team!

If you answer with a fervent "YES!" to these questions, then you would be an ideal candidate as a Marketing Specialist to work with the Marketing team to create and execute innovative and dynamic campaigns, messaging, and coordination of Rohit's sales and marketing department needs.

What will you do in this role?

• Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans, tactics, and budgets
• Responsible for the ongoing monitoring of sales and marketing throughout the Edmonton region.
• Market research, planning, and reporting on competition and customer segmentation.
• Regular product audits and tours.
• Liaise with our internal Sales Team: communicate marketing initiatives, coordinate show homes and their events, promotions, and the collection of sales and construction data.
• Responsible for ensuring our current outstanding customer care is marketed broadly and becomes a compelling reason for our customers to choose a Rohit Communities home.
• Create, implement, and maintain signage plans for communities.
• Assist in brand development while maintaining a consistent brand image.
• General administrative support to the Marketing team, including budget creation and tracking and reporting.

DIGITAL MARKETING

• Assist in the development of new web-based platforms for Rohit Communities as well as the maintenance of existing websites and applications
• Maximize the effectiveness of our customer relationship management system by utilizing targeted email campaigns to deliver on marketing and sales objectives.
• Social Media coordination- strategize, plan, and assist in directing, creating, and executing informative and engaging digital and social media programs on a variety of Rohit Communities assets.

CREATIVE AND COPYWRITING

• Design and implement all marketing and promotional material, including: advertising, brochures, signage, web, social media, corporate gear, etc.
• Writing product descriptions, advertorials, brochure copies, social media and web content, press releases, award submissions, blogs etc.

PARTNERSHIPS AND AMBASSADORS

• Create ambassadors for Rohit Communities and the Rohit Group of Companies and be one yourself!
• Work with key influencers in our major markets to elevate the Rohit brand.

What do we look for?

• 3+ years of general marketing experience
• Completion of a degree in Marketing or Business from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Ability to participate in developing and contribute to executing Rohit Communities' marketing strategy.
• Proven success in a fast-paced, high volume workload environment with little to no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to conceptualize, innovate, and drive marketing initiatives.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong and confident communicator, both written and oral.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with customer relationship management systems (Hubspot experience would be an asset).
• Budget management.
• Ability to build trust, values others, communicates effectively, drives execution, fosters innovation, focuses on the customer, collaborates with others, solves problems creatively, and demonstrates high integrity.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
