Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies to promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and strengthen client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, or communications. Experience in international trade is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Assess characteristics of products or services to determine marketing and advertising needs of the establishment. Advise clients on marketing, advertising, or sales promotion opportunities and strategies. Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns, and implement them. Manage post-campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics. Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials. Develop, implement, and evaluate public relations strategies and programs designed to inform clients, employees, and the general public of business initiatives and policies. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to identify the interests and concerns of key groups served by the organization. Maintain regular contact with clients and ensure strong, long-term client relationships. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other promotional materials. Develop communication strategies. Evaluate communication strategies and programs. Implement communication strategies and programs. Prepare written materials such as reports, briefs, and website content. Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers. Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies. Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development potential and future trends.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, or a related position. Post-secondary education in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in international trade and export marketing is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, data analysis, and social media management platforms. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
