MARKETING SPECIALIST





The Marketing Specialist will drive targeted customer engagement by leveraging deep market insights, managing end-to-end customer journeys, and developing data-driven marketing campaigns. The role combines expertise in digital and traditional marketing channels to build communities, execute impactful events, and contribute to global strategic objectives while optimizing resources and delivering measurable results.



A key focus will be on supporting the Aqualitas Medical Platform, ensuring their marketing strategies align with business objectives and customer needs. Canada specific.



The role will involve platform marketing, ensure effective product placement and leverage content from other campaigns and working with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities





Reporting to the Director-Business Development, your work will include, but not be limited to the following:

Manages and serves specific, clearly defined customer target groups. Develops a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, and digital landscapes to meet expectations effectively Develops a comprehensive understanding of the market to design and implement customer group-specific campaigns Oversee customer journey management, ensuring seamless engagement from awareness through decision-making to loyalty and repeat purchases. Leverages expertise in both traditional and esp. digital marketing channels for optimal reach and impact. Utilizes data analysis and insights to monitor performance, adapt strategies, and drive data-driven marketing decisions Builds and nurtures communities that encourage discussions around products and therapies to foster peer influence and engagement Selects and manages agencies to execute activities aligned with the strategy, measuring success against predefined KPIs Contributes to the development of global strategy objectives providing content & digital assets Manages content and messaging creation/adaptation to effectively communicate with target audiences. Defines and optimizes marketing channels to ensure coverage of relevant touchpoints Plans, organizes, execute, and monitors customer events, for both in-person and virtual audiences to broaden target group engagement Manages and allocates dedicated budgets to ensure efficient use of resources

Canadian Market:



Maintain ongoing knowledge of the cannabis industry relating to regulations, policies, trends, issues, etc. that are relevant to Aqualitas' interests Ensure marketing and promotional materials are compliant with the Cannabis Act and Regulations Adhere to all Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Support any inter-departmental visual communications request(s) (Social Media posts,
Facility Signage etc)

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications

or related field

2+ years' progressive experience in marketing and communications Strong project management skills Intermediate skills in art direction and/or layout and design software

Adobe Creative Suite, Canva as examples.

Exceptional verbal and report presentation abilities Extensive experience in strategic advertising plans

Skills Requirements



Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment Knowledge of the Cannabis Industry and regulatory frameworks is an asset Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects Exceptional ability to work with the public with confidence and enthusiasm Ability to act independently and as a team member Attention to detail and accuracy including thorough documentation abilities Excellent comprehension, communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Brooklyn, Queens County, NS area (preferred)


Compensation: To be determined based on skills and experience


Status and Hours: Permanent, 40hrs per week
