THE POSITION

Responsibilities

  • Help organize Virtual and in-person marketing events as needed. Tasks can include maintaining guest list, ordering supplies, and assisting with set up
  • Assist various Marketing Managers, Promotion Managers, and coordinators in their daily administrative tasks as required
  • Generate marketing sales reports on a weekly basis and as needed
  • Submit artist award certification applications and ordering plaques
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of marketing contests
  • Identify and analyze market trends in the music/entertainment field
  • Artist research to assist in the creation of content marketing initiatives
  • Participate in department brainstorming sessions and take notes in meetings
  • Compile chart information, reports and artist assets including publicity photos, bios, and additional assets
  • Research and monitor streaming, station adds, artist socials, radio charts and more
  • Track radio statistics and market share
  • Assist with uploading audio to digital delivery service platforms for radio servicing
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires a placement
  • Strong desire to learn along with a professional, reliable and outgoing attitude
  • Passion for music and the marketing industry
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Strong familiarity and experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign etc.) an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with social media, analytics and digital marketing campaigns is required
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly, while also taking initiative to find solutions on your own
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Strong organizational, verbal and communication skills
  • Must provide proof of WSIB coverage through school
