Job Description


HOK Canada is currently seeking a Marketing Professional to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality proposals and other marketing collateral.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the technical and creative development, design and production of proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations.
  • Writes effective proposal responses, project and personnel descriptions, social media posts, and award submittals.
  • Works closely with a variety of groups including the Canadian marketing team, studio leaders, design teams, and other global professionals within the company.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Aptitude for comprehending and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to connect marketing activities to larger business goals.
  • Previous experience within architecture/design, construction and commercial real estate industries is desirable, but not required.
Work Style
  • Commitment to meet deadlines and achieve tangible results.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, yet values collaboration and works well as part of team.
  • Willingness to receive and learn from constructive criticism.
Technical Skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop are required.
Required ExperienceEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English literature, journalism, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of related professional experience.

  • Overtime will be required.
