Mississauga Hong Kong Festival 2025
as our
Marketing & PR Intern
!
You'll work closely with our core team to shape our public voice, build media connections, and help bring the festival to the broader community.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft press releases, media advisories, and newsletters
Coordinate outreach to local media, community organizations, and event calendars
Assist with creating sponsor and media kits
Help organize interviews, photo ops, and media coverage during the festival
Support creation of post-event media reports and public thank-you statements
Monitor and record press mentions or media coverage

Ideal Candidate:
University/college student in
communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional tone in email and outreach
Familiar with Google Workspace; bonus if you know Canva or basic design
Available to assist on-site during the press conference and festival weekend (Aug 30-Sept 1)
