Auxly is seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator on a full-time basis.This role will support the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager by bridging the gap between marketing strategy and execution, ensuring that marketing initiatives are successfully implemented at the operational level. The successful candidate skill set combines both strategic and tactical elements of trade marketing, with an emphasis on project management, data platform management, and logistics.
The Marketing Operations Coordinator will lead the following:
Execution of marketing programs by managing processes, logistics, and optimize workflows across teams.
Manage the asset portal management system, ensuring that all assets (physical and digital) are accurately uploaded, organized, and easily accessible.
Ad hoc initiatives from the Marketing & Innovation team that require cross-functional collaboration and support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Technology Administration
Manage the asset portal for trade marketing assets, create new inventory items (both physical and digital).
Maintain platform accuracy by ensuring all assets listed are up to date and active in market.
Provide technical support to sales team for order inquiries, bulk shipments and troubleshoot technical issues.
Retail Activation Tracking:
Gather detailed information for key account programs, including store specifications for displays, store address lists, and program-specific requirements.
Create bulk distribution lists with itemized assets for each store. Provide tracking details once assets are shipped and communicate updates to the sales team.
Work with sales to collect performance data and results for trade programs, including KPIs, and compile these into post-program recap reports.
Coordination of Marketing Assets (Sales Support):
Distribute marketing tools, resources, and promotional materials to the national sales team to support their retailers.
Maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials and provide regular updates to stakeholders on stock levels and material availability.
Vendor & Logistics Management:
Collaborate with vendors to coordinate the shipping, storage, and receipt of marketing assets.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to meet program deadlines.
Budget Management & Legal Compliance Support:
Assist in managing the trade marketing budget, tracking expenses, codding invoices and ensuring proper allocation of funds.
Coordinate with legal to secure necessary sign-offs on trade assets.
Manage uploading and coding assets into internal assets tracking platform.
Skills and Qualifications:
Post- secondary education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Related experience:
3+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales support, or a related operational role (preferred). Cannabis industry experience preferred.
Strong understanding of retail operations:
Knowledge of retail environments, distribution channels, and merchandising practices.
Project management skills:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to lead cross-functional mandates.
Strong Attention to Detail:
High organizational strength, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Advanced skills using spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation tools. Data platform background an asset (Ex. Tableau, Oracle).
Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and takes ownership and initiative.
Location
This position is based in Toronto, Canada, hybrid office / work-from-home arrangement.
* The successful candidate will be expected to work from our downtown Toronto office three days per week.
