Marketing Manager (remote) Upland software, Specialized Markets Business unit



Upland Software delivers specialized solutions that make us irresistible and irreplaceable to our customers. As part of the Specialized Markets business unit, you'll help bring innovative B2B software products to life for complex and high-value business needs.



We're looking for a hands-on marketing manager who thrives at the intersection of product marketing and demand generation. Someone who's equal parts strategist and doer--able to write clear messaging, build programs that generate leads, and make sense of marketing performance data.

Key Responsibilities




Develop and execute demand generation programs that attract qualified leads and drive measurable sales pipeline--using guerrilla tactics to maximize reach and impact. Own the go-to-market strategy for your products--from defining value propositions to launching features and driving adoption. Write clear, compelling messaging that explains what the product does and why it matters--across web, email, ads, social, and sales content. Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to deliver a consistent message from first touch to closed deal. Optimize marketing tactics based on performance data, not guesswork. Support field events, trade shows, and outbound campaigns that align with GTM priorities.

Requirements




6+ years of experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS marketing. Proven ability to build pipeline through a mix of content, campaigns, and enablement Skilled at simplifying technical topics and telling a clear product story Strong project manager--can drive multiple deliverables forward without dropping details Collaborative, self-motivated, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a remote-first environment Comfortable interpreting performance data and adjusting tactics based on results

Preferred Skills




Experience running integrated campaigns and outbound programs that deliver results Familiar with Salesforce, 6sense, Wrike, and MAPs (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) Strong writer who can simplify complex concepts Experience optimizing landing pages and paid ad performance Proficient with marketing and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.) Comfortable working with product managers and sales to bring new features to market Please include a landing page or email you created that helped explain a complex product or concept

Responsabilites essentielles


Developper et executer des programmes de generation de la demande qui attirent des prospects de qualite et amene des canaux mesurables de vente -- en utilisant des tactiques de guerilla pour maximiser la portee et l'impact.

Maitriser la strategie de commercialisation de vos produits -- de la definition des propositions de valeur au lancement des fonctionnalites et a la stimulation de leur adoption.

Rediger des messages clairs et engageants qui detaillent ce que le produit fait et sa pertinence -- a travers du contenu web, courriel, publicitaire, de media sociaux et de promotions de vente.

Collaborer avec les equipes des ventes, des produits et de creation pour offrir un message consistent du premier contact a la conclusion de la vente.

Optimiser les strategies de marketing selon les donnees de performance, et non sur des suppositions.

Soutenir les evenements de terrain, les salons professionnels et les campagnes de prospection qui correspondent aux priorites de la strategie de mise sur le marche.

Les imperatifs




6 annees ou plus d'experience de marketing SaaS B2B en entreprise.

Aptitudes eprouvees de creation de pipelines de ventes via un ensemble de contenus, de campagnes et d'engagements.

Un don pour simplifier les aspects techniques et pour narrer clairement l'evolution d'un produit.

Aptitudes marquees de gestion de projet -- permettant de mener a bien plusieurs projets sans negliger les details.

Collaboratif, auto-motive et a l'aise avec un travail inter-disciplinaire dans un environnement principalement a distance.

Habitue d'interpreter des donnees de performance et d'ajuster les strategies selon les resultats.


Competences ideales


Experience en gestion de campagnes integrees et de programmes sortants qui produisent des resultats.

Familiarite avec Salesforce, 6sense, Wrike, et MAPs (p. Ex. : Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot).

Redacteur chevronne capable de vulgariser des concepts complexes.

Experience dans l'optimisation des pages d'accueil et de la performance des annonces payantes.
