Position Overview
This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to strengthen both CTG and Giftcraft's brand presence, support sales initiatives, and enhance internal and external communications. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution across digital, Marketing Material, events, and PR.
Position Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand & Marketing
Manage brand positioning and messaging for CTG and Giftcraft and its portfolio of brands across retail and wholesale channels.
Oversee the design, production, and distribution of marketing collateral including catalogues, sales sheets, email campaigns, social media content, and digital assets.
Content creation and editing for key communications deliverables including presentations, newsletters, videos, brochures, letters, memos, bulletins, web content, scripts/speaking points, advertisements and reports as required
Support product launches with compelling storytelling, visuals, targeted campaigns, and e-blasts.
Lead corporate communications, including press releases, newsletters, internal announcements, and executive messaging.
Manage company websites, portals, and social media platforms to drive engagement, traffic, and lead generation.
Oversee email marketing campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp) and continuously optimize for deliverability, open rates, and conversions.
Update and maintain the B2B website, including design vision and content updates; oversee and manage the B2C websites of the top five brands to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a user-friendly experience.
Develop sales presentations and provides reports on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products and pricing
Events & Trade Shows
Plan and execute marketing support for trade shows, showroom events, and customer experiences.
Develop event communications, signage, presentations, and promotional materials.
Support Tradeshow and U.S sales team
Coordinate volunteer days, BBQs, anniversary events, and other initiatives to strengthen company culture and community presence.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with sales, merchandising, design, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities.
Partner with external agencies, printers, and media vendors as required.
Support multiple platforms and brand management teams with their marketing needs.
Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or brand management (wholesale, retail, or consumer goods experience preferred).
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Meta/LinkedIn Ads), CMS platforms (Wix, WordPress, GoDaddy), and design tools (Canva; Adobe Creative Suite is an asset).
Experience with retail or B2B marketing and trade show coordination.
