About this Role:

As Marketing Manager at Hullo Ferries, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive passenger growth, strengthen brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement across our ferry services. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on marketing execution to support our mission of providing exceptional ferry transportation services. You will be the driving force behind our marketing efforts, developing and implementing programs that effectively promote our services and achieve revenue targets. Working alongside the Creative Manager, you'll develop compelling advertising campaigns and content that resonates with our target audiences. As a key connector across the organization, you will liaise with Operations and IT teams on service improvements and technology projects, ensuring marketing initiatives align with operational capabilities and technical developments. The position directly supervises the Digital Marketing Specialist and works closely with our third-party Performance Marketer on paid campaign strategy and optimization. This role serves as a crucial bridge across multiple departments, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to drive company-wide success.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution

o Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive ticket sales and route utilization

o Create and manage integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including audience segmentation and CTAs

o Oversee website content strategy and management, ensuring optimal user experience and conversion

o Manage email marketing program, including campaign strategy, segmentation, and performance optimization

o Plan and execute promotional contests, giveaways, and seasonal campaigns

o Coordinate digital screen content in terminals and high-traffic areas

Partnerships & Communications

o Build and maintain relationships with travel partners, tourism boards, and local businesses

o Manage media relations, press releases, and public communications

o Coordinate with social media influencers and partners for content creation

o Develop and implement internal communication strategies

o Manage crisis communications and reputation management

Operations & Project Management

o Lead end-to-end project management of marketing initiatives, ensuring timeline and budget adherence

o Plan and execute company and public events, managing all logistical aspects

o Coordinate with marine and terminal operations on schedules and logistics

o Oversee traditional media advertising, including radio and billboard campaigns

o Analyze campaign performance and optimize marketing ROI

o Lead and mentor the Digital Marketing Specialist

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field

5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a management role

Previous experience managing and developing direct reports

Proven experience managing website content and email marketing campaigns

Excellent project management and team leadership abilities

Experience with email marketing platforms and content management systems

Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
