You're a detail-driven marketer with a passion for local food, sustainability, and purpose-led brands You love turning customer data into thoughtful, engaging lifecycle campaigns and get a kick out of driving repeat orders and building basket size You understand the nuances of e-commerce in a subscription-based environment, and you know how to market within supply constraints and produce seasonality You're both creative and analytical, and just as excited to write a story about a local farmer and their produce as you are to dive into performance metrics You're endlessly curious, always looking to understand what's working, why customers behave the way they do, and how to make every touchpoint more meaningful You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams like purchasing, tech, and operations, to bring campaigns to life You bring a track record of experience in retention marketing, automation, and campaign strategy, but you're also motivated by mission and eager to support local food systems, reduce waste, and connect customers to good food

What you will be doing:



Customer Lifecycle Ownership



Own and lead all customer lifecycle touch points across email, SMS, and on-site marketing Oversee Klaviyo strategy and execution, including weekly campaigns and automated flows that drive retention, conversion, and up-sell Manage segmentation, list growth, and hygiene strategies to improve deliverability and performance Lead loyalty program initiatives that support customer engagement and long-term retention

Performance & Optimization



Design and implement A/B tests across channels to drive continuous improvement in both acquisition and retention efforts Analyze performance across email, website, and loyalty program, turning insights into actionable recommendations Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance the customer experience and drive e-commerce performance

Campaign & Merchandising Strategy



Lead seasonal campaign planning in collaboration with the purchasing team, ensuring alignment with supply, seasonality, and strategic goals Curate weekly product merchandising for the e-commerce storefront, informed by customer behaviour and inventory Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing and operations teams to support product launches and promotions

Creative & Brand Stewardship



Oversee the development of on-brand creative and messaging across customer touch points including website, email, SMS, loyalty, and transactional communications Manage the end-to-end process for product photography and descriptions to ensure consistency and quality

What you will bring to the table:



Several years of experience in a retention or lifecycle marketing role within an e-commerce or subscription-based business Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including building campaigns, flows, and audience segments A strong understanding of customer journey mapping, e-commerce merchandising, and driving repeat purchase behaviour A proven track record of analyzing performance metrics and customer behaviour to improve marketing outcomes Comfortable working with customer data and segmentation strategies Experience designing and executing A/B tests across email, SMS, and on-site touch points Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a talent for emotional and brand-aligned storytelling Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with teams like purchasing, tech, and operations Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets A genuine passion for food, sustainability, and supporting local businesses, especially those rooted in organic and regenerative practices
