Hybrid, Based out of TorontoThe Responsible Gambling Council is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to problem gambling prevention. For over 40 years, we have worked to reduce gambling risk by creating and delivering innovative awareness and information programs in Ontario and around the world. We work with priority populations, including youth, young adults, ethnocultural populations, and the general public, to educate people on the risks of gambling, mitigating those risks and how to access support. We work with the industry and regulators to promote the adoption of improved play safeguards through best practices research, standards development and the RG Check accreditation program.Join RGC and play a key role in crafting dynamic marketing strategies that truly make a difference for the communities and partners we serve - globally. In this role, you'll have the chance to work closely with diverse teams and tier one creative agencies to drive impactful initiatives, while mentoring and empowering direct reports to reach their full potential. Marketing & Communications (40%)Work closely with AD and VP to develop and execute brand strategies to enhance visibility and align with organizational goals.Lead the creation and delivery of campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and tone partnering with internal agency stakeholders, PR/Comms Manager and 1 direct report.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing materials supporting youth, young adult and community programs.Supporting the AD, lead Sports Betting partnership efforts with leagues including campaigns, activations and community engagement.Lead marketing efforts that support RGCs growing B2B portfolios.Demonstrate knowledge of EDI principles and experience in engaging diverse communities, with a focus on ethnocultural markets. A commitment to understanding and addressing diverse needs will be a key lens for this role.2. Social Media Management (35%)Manage and own all social media channels, including strategy, content calendars, community engagement/management and guiding the marketing coordinator through daily execution.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to source engaging content and respond to social media requests, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.Evaluate and optimize content strategy and support insights pull and reporting.3. B2B Support & Events (15%)Develop marketing collateral and communications to support the growth of our B2B services.Leverage partnerships to promote and execute successful campaigns for conferences and industry events.Build relationships with industry partners to maximize marketing opportunities.4. Conference Brand Marketing (10%)Oversee branding and marketing efforts for conferences, ensuring cohesive messaging and engagement.Collaborate with conference organizers to deliver tailored marketing materials.5. Other Tasks as RequiredTake on additional projects and responsibilities that align with organizational needs.QUALIFICATIONS4+ years in a strategic marketing or equivalent role.Strong leadership and project management skills.Expertise in brand management and social media strategy.Experience working with creative agencies on complex, multi-channel campaigns.Experience working on campaigns/communications for diverse populations.Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.Creative and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.Experience in mentoring and managing direct reports.ASSETSSports Betting interest and/or experience.Experience in conference marketing or B2B communications.Familiarity with analytics tools to measure campaign success.Bilingual proficiency is an asset.RGC celebrates and values cultural diversity and is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse staff.
