About the role
The Marketing Manager is a marketing strategist first and foremost. You will work remotely with occasional travel for internal meetings (quarterly). You will be responsible for managing all of The Sponsorship Collective's marketing efforts and introducing new strategies.
You will collaborate daily with the Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Manager of Client Services and will report to, and work closely with, the CEO. You will manage all service providers and build an internal team over time.
Responsibilities and KPIs
Generate 450 new calls per month for the sales team. If you have never done lead gen, this role is not for you. You will create content, run ads and give away free templates and webinars in exchange for email addresses and work with our copywriter to get people to book calls or respond to our appointment setters calls
You will work with our ads agency and will be involved in the creation of ads, copy, lead magnets and campaigns. You will manage the advertising budget and maintain approved CPA and CPLs as well as close rates on calls booked
Develop reports evaluating the performance and effectiveness of lead generation and sales activities. Analyze data to optimize conversions and revenue. Keep records of leads per sale, sales per week, and build data on team productivity
Working with our copywriters, manage all email marketing, including, but not limited to, auto responders in funnels as well as regular marketing communication
Build our social media presence. Increase fans and followers on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Create and execute an editorial calendar. Use social media to increase leads and sales appointments and to provide support to help sales hit their closing goals.
Manage freelance designers to complete all creative needs including design and branding requests, all website properties, and video production support
Executing webinar events and marketing campaigns
Create and manage content for youtube video production
Constantly monitoring our funnels and improving the performance of individual communications
Think quantitatively and strategically, always testing new copy concepts, designs, and other channels presenting results to management to in concise, readable, and action-oriented way
Provide daily updates to the CEO and leadership team
Requirements
3 - 5 years experience in a lead gen role
Hubspot experience is essential for this role
Achieve results above and beyond what is expected, always aiming to over deliver
Solid understanding of SEO concepts, digital marketing and funnels
Demonstrated success in direct response marketing lead generation including managing ad budgets
Experience creating high-converting marketing copy

Permanent, full-time (40 hours)
This position is fully virtual though occasional travel to Toronto or Ottawa will be required (3 - 5 times per year)
Remuneration:

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus bonus based on achieving KPIs
