The Marketing Manager, Oshawa Centre is responsible for leading the centre\xe2\x80\x99s marketing efforts in support of the property\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goals. They will ensure that JLL\xe2\x80\x99s marketing platforms (Marketing for Leasing, Marketing for Sales, Marketing for Revenue), tools and Core Practices are effectively employed to drive results and maximize client satisfaction.

Marketing Strategy development & management

• Development of the annual marketing plans and budgets for the properties based upon the centers\xe2\x80\x99 strategic goals and market research.
• Analysis of sales and statistical data, management of public relations, media buying, traditional and digital media management, program results documentation and general administrative duties.

Marketing strategy implementation including:

• Develop and execute sales promotions, special events and communication strategies.
• Develop an ongoing public relations action plan and track publicity results.
• Establish an ongoing partnership with tenants.
• Identify and implement all appropriate corporate programs.
• Effectively manage the center\xe2\x80\x99s digital media programs.
• Partner with the Leasing team to support the leasing efforts by creating professional, compelling sales materials.
• Partner with Specialty Leasing to develop and implement local and corporate ancillary income opportunities.
• Build relationships with key leaders and organizations in the region and support relevant community initiatives.

Leadership, motivation, and development

• Serve on Jones Lang LaSalle taskforce and participate in professional training

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, communication, or related field.
• 3-5 years of marketing or advertising experience in the retail and/or shopping center industry.
• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and research.
• Must have experience in managing budgets.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, special event coordination and management experience along with the ability to multitask.
• Understanding of the web and social networking, computer, and Office Suite knowledge.
• Must have flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings.
• Strong team player
