You\xe2\x80\x99ll get to combine financial insights, historical data, forecasting, spending trends, and business needs to support strategic decision-making for the SmartHome Security Marketing team. You will support the success of the team across all portfolios by leveraging data and working with internal and external stakeholders to provide keen insights. Here\xe2\x80\x99s how:

• Prime the budget and strategic planning process for the SmartHome Security, SmartWear Security, and Custom Home teams
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals and to drive successes
• Proactively manage and investigate budget variance as well as exploring opportunities to maximize and optimize teams\xe2\x80\x99 financial performance
• Own the end-to-end forecasting and planning of all annual and monthly budget processes
• Manage month-end deliverables including accruals, reconciliations, reports, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with primes and key stakeholders to ensure budget are identified and tracked for budget accuracy and optimization
• Ensure budget processes and information flow are performing optimally and inspire change, as necessary, to ensure they continue to evolve and be optimized
• Work collaboratively and proactively with a diverse stakeholder community (Marketing, Finance, TELUS Studios, Channels, Agencies) in a dynamic and cross-functional environment

• Consistently demonstrating strong program and project management skill sets focused on setting goals, driving performance and optimizing tactics through a collaborative team approach
• Your ability to craft clear, concise and compelling messages with a \xe2\x80\x9cstorytelling approach\xe2\x80\x9d to all levels in the organization
• Your attention to detail and analytical skills is apparent in your ability to create and present highly detailed financial insights
• Recognized for your ability to bring teams together and work closely across cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and execute on projects and priorities

Great-to-haves:

• A degree in Business Administration and/or accounting accreditation
• Experience in proactively managing budgets, forecasting, adjusting & accruing
• Exceptional in-depth Google Sheets and Microsoft (MS) Excel skills
• Experience working with SAP
• Knowledge of the Google suite of applications, notably Slides and Sheets
• Experience in marketing, finance, and business analytics
• Demonstrated project management and program support skills
• Expert knowledge of data and analytic techniques that incorporate well into storytelling
• Work with visualization tools (Tableau and Domo)
