JOB SUMMARY



The Marketing Manager is a pivotal member of the leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Events.

This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution to position Rosemead House as the premier luxury destination on Vancouver Island. The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing initiatives, brand storytelling, and event activations, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence in the marketplace.

By fostering a high-performance, revenue-focused culture, the Marketing Manager will maximize market share and elevate guest experiences to reflect the property's exacting luxury standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Marketing & Brand Management



Design and implement an integrated marketing strategy to strengthen brand identity, market positioning, and guest engagement. Lead digital and traditional campaigns across website, SEO, social media, print, and email channels. Manage social media channels for Rosemead House, Janevca, and Salt & Ivy, creating engaging content and responding to online reviews across key platforms. Develop compelling storytelling, visual assets, and promotional content (including press releases and collateral) to highlight unique offerings and seasonal campaigns. Oversee PR agencies and media relationships to secure earned coverage and optimize paid placements. Build partnerships with influencers, travel bloggers, and luxury lifestyle brands to expand reach and attract new clientele. Collaborate with Reservations/Revenue teams to align promotions, packages, and pricing strategies for maximum occupancy and profitability. Develop guest loyalty programs and engagement initiatives to drive repeat business and increase lifetime value.

Guest Experience & Cross-Department Collaboration



Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, and Food & Beverage to deliver seamless group and VIP guest experiences. Ensure timely, professional communication of guest needs, upgrades, and special requests. Maintain strong interdepartmental communication so all teams are aligned on VIPs, events, and promotions Support the leadership team in fostering a service culture consistent with luxury hospitality standards.

Administration & Reporting



Compile, analyze, and share marketing performance reports with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to leadership and departmental meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes as needed. Ensure efficient handling of calls, emails, inquiries, and reservations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS



Experience



3-5 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel marketing management. Proven success in exceeding revenue targets through innovative campaigns and content creation. Expertise in leading integrated marketing campaigns (digital and print) and managing PR/media agency partnerships. Strong background in planning and executing high-profile, luxury events.

Skills



Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize and perform under pressure. Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills Proficiency with PMS/CRM systems (WebRez preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools. Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative campaigns and unique guest experiences. Skilled collaborator with the ability to build strong client relationships and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion.

Education



University degree or college diploma in Hospitality, Business, or Marketing preferred.

Physical Requirements



Ability to be on feet for extended periods, move throughout the property, and respond quickly to guest and team needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
