Key Responsibilities
As the Marketing Manager, you will lead regional marketing strategy and execution to elevate brand presence, strengthen supplier relationships, and drive marketing performance across Western Canada. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of three marketing professionals to deliver compelling campaigns and materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and supplier partners to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Budget & Supplier Management:
  • Manage the annual co-op marketing fund, including allocation, invoicing, reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Oversee supplier media plans and ensure timely communication of approvals, deliverables, and campaign performance.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that align with business objectives and supplier goals.
  • Oversee creation and distribution of marketing collateral and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Design and manage digital and social media campaigns, including Google Ads, to drive engagement and eCommerce growth.
  • Events & Promotions:
  • Plan and execute branch and regional events, trade shows, and promotions that enhance customer and supplier relationships.
  • Support local marketing efforts through collaboration with branch managers and regional coordinators.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Deliver post-campaign and post-event analysis, offering performance insights and improvement strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform marketing direction and strategy.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Education & Experience:
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within B2B, wholesale, or industrial sectors.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, social media management tools, and digital marketing analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Key Competencies:
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities across all stakeholder levels.
  • Creative problem-solver with adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with suppliers, media outlets, and industry associations.
