JOB SUMMARY
The
Marketing Manager, Acute
will lead and execute Medline marketing efforts in the Acute Care channel in Canada. This role will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and strategic marketing initiatives to support customer acquisition and retention, while supporting key internal Sales and Clinical stakeholder teams to grow and maintain this strategic market in Canada.

Strategic Leadership
: Acts as the owner of the Value Proposition and Go-to-Market Approachfor the Acute Care Channel in Canada.
Brand Development
: Drives awareness and engagement of the Medline Canadabrand through tailored marketing strategies.
Customer-Centric Focus
: Leverages Customer Insightsto align brand activities with the evolving needs of the Canadian healthcare market.
Cross-functional Collaboration
: Works closely with Salesand other internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution of marketing and brand initiatives.
Campaign Execution
: Manages and implements brand campaigns and communications that aim to:
+ Strengthen brand credibility and differentiation
+ Drive measurable sales impact
Market Activation
: Leads the activation of the Medline Programs and Strategies to drive customer penetration and support growth targets.
Executes Annual Marketing Plans
based on customer insights, including product launches, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders. This includes Roadmaps and Playbooks to drive sales enablement and customer activation activities. This channel leader is responsible for key stakeholder engagement, alignment and collaboration.
Aligns marketing initiatives with emerging business opportunities
, applying a proactive and reactive strategy informed by a deep understanding of the GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) and SSO (Shared Services Organization) landscape when applicable, and RFP Strategy.
Leads Go-to-Market (GtM) and Value Proposition strategies
in Acute, ensuring alignment with Sales, Product, and Clinical stakeholders.
Monitors market dynamics
and aligns marketing strategies with overarching business objectives.
Serves as the Marketing Channel Champion
, advocating for channel needs and ensuring strategies are aligned with market demands.
Facilitates cross-functional collaboration
, hosting regular sales & product management channel discussions to ensure alignment of programs, messaging, and tools with business goals.
Maintains and enforces brand guidelines
, ensuring brand consistency across all projects and communication channels.
Coordinates marketing deliverables
for annual events including tradeshows, customer presentations, publications, internal conferences, and channel-specific activities in collaboration with the event lead at Medline.
Ensures consistent brand messaging
across all media, working closely with the marketing team to align efforts across digital, print, events, and other platforms.
Provides cross-functional support
for broader marketing initiatives and team projects as needed.
Develops and manages project budgets and timelines
, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with strategic goals.
Evaluates marketing performance
through ROI analysis and campaign metrics to inform future initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 to 5 years in a Marketing management role.
Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
Past Healthcare Marketing experience, particularly in a hospital market, is advantageous.
Experience within the tendering and RFP process and GPO landscape is an asset.
Experience in Healthcare or a related field in a Marketing and Brand Managing capacity.
Experience in aligning strategic initiatives to business objectives and analyzing and reporting ROI.
Experience in managing, creating, leading integrated marketing campaigns.
Experience in managing creative and digital agencies.
Experience in delivering and leveraging data-driven business analytics and developing business insights.
Past Healthcare Marketing experience, particularly in a hospital market, is advantageous.
RFP process understanding is beneficial.
Strategic thinking with strong market dynamics acumen.
Strong project management in fast-paced environments.
Data-driven decision making.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project).
Bilingual - English and French (asset).
