The position is for a Full Time Permanent Position -- Monday to Friday, Hours: 8:30 - 5:00. We offer a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week on-site and 2 days a week remote. This position also entails working some weekend shows and tournaments and may entail travel within Canada and the United States.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate actively with Mercury's Global Marketing team
Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns in Canada, ensuring they are implemented effectively, correctly, on time, and within budget
Drive the Marketing calendar in Canada and communicate key initiatives and key details to internal departments, stakeholders, and dealers.
Manage dealer support and Retail Marketing programs such as in-store displays and POP, Google Ads, automated marketing for dealers, apparel and merchandise, co-op, and local marketing guides
Manage marketing contracts and relationships with business partners, including TV shows, Pro Anglers, and influencers.
In collaboration with the Global e-commerce team, lead and coordinate Canada e-commerce initiatives, including B2B and national retailers such as Amazon.
Assist and coordinate special events, boat shows, tournaments, displays, and booth requirements.
Attend boat shows and special events to promote Mercury products and Brunswick brands.
Managing translations for Quebec through Mercury's translation software partner
Continual evaluation and improvement of marketing processes in Canada
Define and manage the marketing budget and expenses for Canada
Manage purchase order requisitions and payments for marketing or advertising vendors.
Maintain monthly tracking and planned spending versus a defined annual marketing budget.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Well-rounded understanding of overall marketing strategies and tactics with an ability to switch between various marketing initiatives as needed.
Skills - creative; analytical, organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, strong communication, presentation, and public relations skills.
Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage and execute trade-show planning, scheduling, and set-up.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, product management, technical support, customer service, and marketing.
Prompt response time to all internal and external customer inquiries and directives
Knowledge of marketing tools and analytics platforms
Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs
Knowledge of the marine industry is an asset.
Ability to travel in Canada and the US
