Marketing & Design Assistant

The Canadian Brewhouse opened its first restaurant in 2001, in Edmonton, Alberta. By adding passionate talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we\xe2\x80\x99ve grown to 44 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 5 Banquet Bars, 40 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries,and 5 Ribeye Butcher Shops.

We are looking for a Marketing & Design Coordinator who will be responsible for providing marketing and administrative support to the Marketing team, and facilitating the smooth execution of campaigns and creative projects. Responsibilities:

MARKETING & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

• Work alongside the marketing team to create, execute and intake requests from across all brands and assign them to team members as prioritized by business needs.
• Work alongside the marketing team and operational partners to manage the Teams and Leagues Program, including execution of program promotion, setup of customer journeys and offers in the app, and measuring effectiveness of the program based on metrics and insights.
• Coordinate communication to stores and intake feedback and requests through the daily notes process.
• Support the planning and coordination of marketing events and promotions, including distribution of event materials to stores and tracking ticket sales.
• Manage department calendars, schedule team meetings, and support team meetings by taking minutes and updating team documentation.
• Assist with budget tracking and expense management for marketing and creative projects.
• Work closely with team members to maintain consistent brand messaging.
• Handle administrative office tasks, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring a well-organized workspace.

GRAPHIC DESIGN & PRINT SUPPORT

• Use creative templates to create print and digital artwork for promotional events including posters, social media ads, menus, arena advertising, as well as outdoor display signage.
• Assist in content creation and editing for marketing materials.
• Maintain organized files, records, and documentation for easy access and retrieval.
• Prepare supplied artwork for output on digital printers.

What do you need?

• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, graphic design or related is preferred.
• General knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools.
• Knowledge of the hospitality and/or retail industries is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to take constructive input/critique from others.
