The Team WestCreek Developments Ltd. and WestCreek Homes are currently seeking a Marketing Creative Coordinator. WestCreek Developments is a master-plan residential land development and home building company, proudly building in the greater Calgary area. WestCreek was founded in 1997, and has since completed 11 communities. WestCreek Developments is continuing its growth with innovative current communities such as Legacy, CornerBrook and Wolf Willow, and a number of new communities planned to launch in the near future. Job Summary The Marketing Creative Coordinator assists with several different marketing tactics and initiatives. The successful candidate will be self-driven to take ownership of projects to push them through to completion. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have a voice in how things are done and create things that are truly special. This role will encompass every aspect of the building process of a community, from brand development, creative development, social media management, event planning, to media buying. This creative role will encompass working with our creative teams and external agencies to create advertisements and marketing pieces and optimize creative performance and drive change in all aspects of our business. You will require excellent writing, organizational, and time management skills as you will be involved in multiple departments of our business. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential as the position is often in direct communication with a variety of teams. There is a lot of room for creativity and new ideas here. Responsibilities As a member of WestCreek\xe2\x80\x99s marketing team, you will work with colleagues and external marketing agencies to:

  • Lead the execution and tracking for several of WestCreeks\xe2\x80\x99s brands with customer facing graphic assets, advertisements, content requests, website updates, press releases, email marketing campaigns, sales centre designs, presentations and general brand representation,
  • Work to ensure consistent voice and brand compliance in all channels
  • Generate, edit, publish and moderate daily social media content through ad creative, social creative, and videos. Manage content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
  • Conceive and strategize campaign themes that could drive content over a calendar year while proactively managing the success of production scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Participate in the development of goals, KPIs and the strategies to meet them; benchmark and log insights to be used for future campaigns
  • Work with the analytics, agency, designer and construction project management teams to strategize and develop creative concepts, project scope/estimating and paid media plans that are aligned to overall WestCreek goals
  • Help support the marketing and communications team with media trafficking, and coordinating the marketing materials for production and distribution.
  • Assist with the coordination of major marketing events, including overseeing logistics, coordinating with vendors, event day management and ordering of marketing collateral
Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma in commerce or marketing
  • Strong design portfolio
  • Experience writing copy and content creation
  • Experience in event planning
  • An understanding of both the traditional and digital media landscapes, as well as media planning and the roll of each channel
  • Thorough understanding of building engagement with social and digital channels
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and ability to adapt and learn new software
  • Knowledge and working ability with Canva, Mailchimp, Hubspot, CRMs and Wordpress
  • Excellent writing and presentation development skills and high attention to detail
  • A problem solver with the ability to effectively manage multiple goals (revenue, engagement, awareness) and to continuously improve month-over-month KPI targets.
  • Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative minds.
  • The ability to initiate action and work both independently and in a team environment, giving and receiving feedback and building on the ideas of others
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Access to a vehicle - some travel within Calgary and surrounding areas is required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours - some evening and weekend work may be required
