Interior Heavy Equipment Operator School is the industry leader for hands-on equipment training A-Z. We train new operators, and work closely with existing operators on live job sites. We offer courses at our training centers across western Canada, additionally, we bring courses to local communities and our company partners at their jobsites. A leader in operator training, assessments, work-site investigations and operations, teaching and documenting is what we do best! As a go-to resource for many work sectors, public & private stakeholders, along with our many Indigenous partners, we are currently experiencing tremendous growth and demand. Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Campus Growth and Student Success, the Marketing Manager/Coordinator is responsible for both the execution and oversight of IHE's marketing initiatives. This hybrid role combines creative, hands-on marketing tasks (graphic design, videography, social media, advertising) with leadership responsibilities such as planning campaigns, monitoring performance, and coordinating team efforts.

The role ensures IHE maintains a professional image, consistent brand voice, and strong digital presence, while also supporting strategic growth through lead generation and enrollment-driven marketing programs.

In addition to internal collaboration, this position will liaise directly with a highly responsive Calgary-based marketing agency that leverages AI-driven tools, analytics, and dynamic creative to optimize our campaigns. The successful candidate will be the organizational lead with this firm, ensuring seamless integration of strategy and execution.

Sales & Customer-Focused Growth

This role goes beyond traditional marketing execution. The Marketing Manager/Coordinator will take ownership of designing, driving, managing, and analyzing campaigns with a clear eye on conversion and revenue growth. A strong customer-centric focus is essential--understanding IHE's training-to-employment model, building bridges with prospective students, and ensuring the admissions team receives high-quality leads is paramount. The role requires a balance of brand-building and pipeline support, ultimately ensuring that every marketing initiative contributes directly to enrollment growth, employer partnerships, and the long-term success of our students.

Responsibilities:

Monitor all review sites such as FB and Google+

Monitor and engage on all the company's social media channels

Manage and increase brand awareness

Assist with updating website and providing input

Create and send out newsletters and e-blasts to entire database

Manage all social advertising campaigns

Development of brand awareness and online reputation through multiple social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)

Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.

Assist in overseeing the company's marketing budget.

Creation and publication of marketing material in line with marketing plans.

Help plan and implement promotional campaigns.

Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.

Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.

Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

Create monthly metrics reports for all marketing activities to assess ROI.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Design, Digital Media, or a related field is considered an asset but not required

Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proficient with all social media platforms ie. FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Tik Tok, Canva

Takes initiative in creating content through community engagement

Attitude & aptitude to learn new programs and develop new skills

Excellent communication skills

Creative and energetic

Self-starter able to work independently

You listen, take feedback, respond quickly, and take initiative

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Some travel is required between locations
