About the Role
This Marketing Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to work with BC's promising startups, developing marketing strategies for diverse science and technology companies. You'll create compelling content, manage digital campaigns, coordinate events, and interview founders for success stories. As part of the marketing team, you'll gain commercialization insights and develop professional networks within the innovation ecosystem.
Our ideal candidate is a creative, adaptable marketing professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You can write well, make striking visual content, and be creative. Strong organizational skills are essential, as you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously. We seek someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can professionally represent VentureLabs while building relationships with founders, mentors, and industry partners. A self-motivated individual with keen attention to detail and passion for innovation will excel.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Writing, Business, or Graphics/Digital Design and one to two years of related experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing, preferably in a startup, technology, or innovation environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills with demonstrated marketing copywriting abilities.
  • Experience with visual content creation, including graphics, short videos, and social media content development.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools such as Canva, Buffer, WordPress, etc.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
