The opportunity: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for marketing and events, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a drive to succeed. This role works in collaboration with members of our GVA and National marketing and communications teams, to support the firm\xe2\x80\x99s strategic and operational digital and content marketing priorities. Our ideal candidate is motivated by the diversity of work, functions well under pressure, and has capabilities with current digital platforms and technologies. What you will do:
  • Provide support to Marketing Managers in the development of marketing plans and tactics and coordinate the rollout of campaigns and programs that align with the Firm\xe2\x80\x99s key business objectives.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing collateral, webinars, email campaigns, web content, and social media campaigns with our in-house creative and digital marketing team.
  • Support sponsorship activation alongside Marketing Managers and central services teams including opportunity assessment and approval, and leveraging the sponsorship assets: brand, stakeholder participation, and digital components.
  • Support in-person, virtual, and hybrid client events, including event management logistics\xe2\x80\x94 e.g. development of critical path, invitation development and distribution, registration management, list management/creation, distribution of follow-up reports, and other related support as needed.
  • Collaborate with our in-house digital marketing team to drive social media content and aspects of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Research as well as coordinate and gather information necessary to develop presentations, fact sheets, and other marketing collateral.
  • Help to maintain lists in KPMG\xe2\x80\x99s CRM database and execute external communications through KPMG\xe2\x80\x99s lead generation tools, such as ExactTarget and CVent.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders, capture and monitor actions points, and support team with processing of invoices and keeping respective budget up to date.
  • Industry and account coordination supporting marketing and relationship strategies for account and industry teams, including internal resources for research, creative designer, proposals, and financial analysis requests.

Level of Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience working in a marketing, event planning, or related field
  • Experience in traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience working with a CRM system a strong asset
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, and SharePoint (User Level)
  • Experience using data analytics software for research
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
